Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Melt butter and olive oil in a saucepan. 
  2. Whisk in flour and continue to cook and stir until the mixture browns slightly. 
  3. Add milk and continue stirring until thickened.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
