Mexican Rice

Ingredients
  

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt optional
  • 14 oz can chicken or vegetable broth
  • 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • ½ cup frozen chopped onions and peppers optional
  • 2 1/4 cups of Minute Rice

Method
 

  1. Use a medium saucepan.
  2. Add broth, tomato sauce, and spices and bring to a boil.
  3. Add rice and optional vegetables.
  4. Cover, and wait 5 minutes until water is absorbed and rice is tender.
