Chicken Stroganoff

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup chopped onion 1 small to medium onion
  • 16 ounces package of sliced mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 lbs. chicken tenderloins cut into 1 in. chunks
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • pepper to taste
  • 12 ounce package of wide egg noodles

Method
 

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions.
  2. Cook chicken in a large skillet over medium high heat until no longer pink.
  3. Add onions, mushrooms and butter and cook until onions are starting to soften, about 3 minutes.
  4. Add chicken broth, flour, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and garlic salt. Cook until mushrooms and onions have reached desired consistency. Stir in sour cream.
  5. Serve over egg noodles, and top with freshly ground black pepper.
