Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Optional: splash of rice vinegar
  • Optional: splash of sesame oil
Combine:
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water

Method
 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan, including the cornstarch and water mixture.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously, until thickened.
