Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. 

Slice each date lengthwise, part way through. 

Add a scoop of cream cheese to the center, and push the date closed.  Continue for all the dates. 

Cut each bacon slice in half, and wrap the bacon around the date/cheese combo, securing with a toothpick.  

Place the appetizers in a baking pan lined with aluminum foil, and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
